Aqualizer

Aqualizer download

On this page, you can download the Aqualizer, a computer program that can be used in order to filter sound. In fact it is a digital equalizer. However, it is an equalizer for connoisseurs, so to say, as we researched how we could improve the existing equalizer to fit the needs of DJ’s and sound designers even better.

Full download package of the Aqualizer You can download the latest version of the Aqualizer, the source code and the user manual here (version 1.1 for Windows).

People who want to download the source code for use on other open source products can download the zip package here. If you wish to use the Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the Aqualizer as well, you can download the resource files here. Finally, the user manual can be found here.

If you happen to be particularly content with the possibilities of the Aqualizer and want to give us something in return, we would very much appreciate a donation, in order to support us in our projects concerning audio technology.

Instruction manual

You can find details about how to install the Aqualizer in the instruction manual which the download package includes. We strongly recommend reading trough this manual first, since the Aqualizer contains a number of functions most people will never have worked with before.

Before you start to work with the Aqualizer, we feel obliged to say that the Aqualizer can by no means work solely: it always needs a hosting program to work in. There are a lot of programs that can actually do this, but most of them are rather expensive computer programs. However, you can find an example of a free and reliable host here: it is called VSTHost, made by Hermann Seib. Read the instruction manual for more details.

Lastly, we put the source code of the Aqualizer to anybody's disposal, so that everybody can learn from it and freely change and/or improve it. The source code is included in the download.

Here you can see a screenshot of the Aqualizer the way it should look when you have installed it properly:
